WIL WHEATON dot TUMBLR: HEY, DID I MISS ANYTHING?
Kids:
A few hours ago, I landed in Los Angeles, turned on my phone, and confirmed what you already know. Sony Pictures Television is replacing me as showrunner on Community, with two seasoned fellows that I’m sure are quite nice - actually, I have it on good authority they’re…
:’(
Community Saving Effort of the Day: Not quite ready to give up on their demands for six seasons and a movie, fans of the recently shelved NBC sitcom Community descended on Rockefeller Plaza today, as promised, to hold a last-ditch flash mob.
Their numbers were reportedly modest, but those who did show up wore evil timeline goatees and sang “O Christmas Troy” like they meant it.
“These fans are not only here but they’re rabid,” one participant is quoted as saying. “Community is one of the smartest and most funny shows on television.”
Then some IRL troll had to ruin the moment by shouting “was!”
But, if tragedy should strike and the show does end up getting canceled, these rabid fans would know the real reason: Community was simply too many streets ahead.

Seriously, incredibly well done.
This is fantastic. Thank you, interwebs.
Easter Egg of the Day: Want to know why Community is getting canceled? Because it’s simply too amazing for this world.
You already know how chock-full of Easter Eggs it is, right? Well, someone just found the best one yet.
It seems that the writers have been sneaking the word “Betelgeuse” into the script of a single episode each season.
Check out what happened when the word was uttered a third time during the show’s Halloween episode, “Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps.” (Hint: Look behind Annie.)
Pure brilliance.

Communal Reaction of the Day: Community stars Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, and series creator Dan Harmon took to Twitter to react to the news that their show has been shelved by NBC until an as-yet-undetermined time.
Sexy Surprise of the Day: People’s Sexiest Man Alive candidate and Community star Joel McHale records himself making a mundane activity look sexy.
Several of his sexy co-stars stop by to help him out.

So this exists.

I’m wondering whether it’s just me. Does any body else think that the new Stella can design is problematic?
